Welcome to the Brooks Equine Genetics Lab! We have been a part of Cornell University's Department of Animal Science since August 2008. The focus of our research is to improve the lives of horses by understanding the genetic basis for diseases and disorders. Our lab consists of our principal investigator, Dr. Samantha Brooks, and several undergraduate and graduate students.
