Law of Independent Assortment

A spotting pattern in horses, called Tobiano, is the phenotype associated with a dominant allele (designated T). The recessive genotype, tt, produces a solid coat color, that is no spotting.

Match the expected ratio, listed below, with each of the following matings:

1
F1 x F1
2 F1 x Solid
3 F1 x Homozygous Tobiano
4 Solid x Solid
Expected Ratios: A = All solid
B = All Tobiano
C = 3 Tobiano : 1 Solid
D = 3 Solid: 1 Tobiano
E = 1 Tobiano: 1 Solid
