There may be as many objectives for sheep farming as there are sheep farmers. Objectives can range from owning animals to give children a chance to learn responsibility to making enough money to support a family. In this lecture, we will review some genetic and economic objectives related to sheep farming by introducing you to SheepSim, a computer simulation of a sheep farm. In the laboratory on Wednesday, you will practice using SheepSim.
