  Buy Lineage
     
 

Lineage is available for purchase on an individual sale basis or through other possible agreements of varying scale. An educational discount of 25% is available upon request. Breeders, you may wish to contact your breed association to see if Lineage is available to you through your association at a reduced price. If your breed association does not provide this service for you, you might like to direct them to this site for more information regarding distribution arrangements for Lineage.

To register and purchase Lineage:

1. Download Lineage and install it on your computer.

2. Register Lineage by visiting the registration web page or by calling or emailing (Note: business hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm Eastern; 3:30 on Fridays):

  Individual Sale  
   
  The Breeders Edition and Professional Edition of Lineage are currently available for purchase. The two editions are the same except that the Breeder Edition only supports populations of 200 or less individuals. Purchasing one copy of any of the Lineage versions entitles you to install the program on one computer. You can also purchase the right to buy additional site licenses at additional cost.

  Distribution Agreements and Other Arrangements  
     
  Institutions or associations wishing to distribute or resell Lineage to its members or community may set up an agreement with us to do so. We will gladly work with you to come up with a solution which will be beneficial to all parties involved. You can email Susan Herbert (shh4@cornell.edu) to be contacted about possibilities for your institution or association.
