The 2011 Cornell Sheep & Goat Symposium will include topics of interest to farmers from beginners to experts, including information on management and marketing strategies; feeding and health programs; and demonstrations about sheep and goat farming. A major theme this year is sheep and goat dairying. Please see the program for the full schedule of events.
A pre-symposium, hands-on practical day will start at 11 am at the Cornell University Teaching and Research Center Sheep Farm at Harford, NY. Saturday symposium headquarters will be in Morrison Hall on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, NY.
Sponsors of the symposium will be able to take part in a trade show that will take place in Morrison Hall. The trade show will be a highlight of the symposium where sheep and goat farmers can see and learn about breeding stock, equipment suppliers, and services that can make farms more profitable and enjoyable to manage. If you would like to participate as a sponsor, please complete the symposium registration form for sponsors.
